Norma Ellen Crowder
Norma Ellen Crowder (nee Porteous) passed away at Dundas Manor in Winchester on Dec. 11, 2005. She was 92.
She was born Feb. 23, 1913 in Mountain Township to the late John Arthur Porteous and the late Sadie Cinnamon. She was the wife of the late Allie Benson Crowder whom she married on May 2, 1952 in Vernon. She was the dear sister of the late Robert Porteous.
She was a member of the United Church.
The funeral was held in the chapel of the Byers Funeral Home on Dec. 13, 2005 with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Ormond Protestant Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith and John Smith, Ron Lewis, Keith Last, Peter McIntosh and Dave Kelly.
