Bruce Dow
Bruce Dow of Metcalfe died on Fri., July 22, 2005, in his 68th year, after a six month battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Joan (Shepherd), daughters Nancy (Shazan Ali) of Brampton, Susan (Greg Kerr) of Ottawa, and son Brad (Andrea Lamontagne) of Metcalfe. He was proud poppa of Shauna and Conor Ali, Madison Kerr, and Alexandra and Michael Dow. He is also survived by brother Bryan (Gail).
Family and friends paid their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home in Metcalfe on July 24. The funeral was held on July 25 in the chapel. Interment was at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Rev. Jo-Anne Symington of Watford, Ont., conducted the services and daughter-in-law Andrea Dow gave the eulogy. Pallbearers were Hunter McCaig, Dwayne Acres, Dave and Blair Dow, Ken Dow and Ivan Jeacle.
