Mabel Dunbar
Mabel Dunbar (nee Zummach) of Winchester passed away at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Dec. 27, 2004. She was 92.
She was the beloved wife of Harold Dunbar. She was the dear sister of Freida Brownell of Ingleside. She will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents William and Helena (Verch) Zummach and one brother Ellard Zummach. She was born on May 22, 1912 in Hagarty Township.
A service in celebration of her life was held at Newington Wesleyan Church on Dec. 31 with Rev. Krista Shaver officiating, assisted by Rev. Thurland Brown. Music selections were performed by her nephew Wayne Dunbar. Spring interment will take place at North Valley Cemetery. The pallbearers were Trevor and Adam Harrison; Donald and Mathew Brownell; Elwood Craig; and Earl McEwan.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Brownlee Funeral Home in Finch.
