Marsha R. Ferguson
Marsha R. Ferguson (Byers) died peacefully following a battle with cancer at the Elisabeth Bruyere Centre in Ottawa on Jan. 14, 2005. She was 39.
She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by daughter Kayla and son Phillip Ferguson; partner Mark Lemke; mother Leola and her husband Dan Majore; father Linden and his wife Beth Byers; brothers Michael and his wife Amanda Majore and Sheldon Byers and his fiancé Ryan Malone; sister Debbie Byers and her partner Paul Christie; her grandmothers Winnie Closs and Dorothy Byers; her nieces and nephews; and family and many good friends.
Friends paid their respects at the Young Funeral Home in Lanark on Jan. 17, 2005. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church in Lanark on Jan. 18. Interment followed at Clyde Forks Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to an education trust being established for Kayla and Phillip, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of both the Elisabeth Bruyere Centre and the Ottawa General Hospital for their excellent compassion and care.
