Lloyd Graham
Lloyd Graham of Bayfield Manor
in Kemptville passed away on July 6, 2005. He was 97.
Lloyd was the husband of the late Grace May who passed away in
1999. He was born on Aug. 27, 1907 in Matilda Township to the
late James Graham and the late Adelaide Durant. He is survived
by children Betty Styles (Ted) and Joyce Boyd (Lynn); grandchildren
Michael, Wayne, and Cheryl; David, Lori, Dean, Brent and Lisa
and by 20 great-grandchildren. Lloyd was the brother of Muriel
Miller and sister-in-law Mavis and was predeceased by Daryl, Nelda,
Merle and Arnold.
Lloyd, formerly of South Mountain was an electronic technician
at Graham TV and Appliances. He was previously a village clerk
in Chesterville. Lloyd worked extensively in the electronics field
including work on one of the first GE TV's in Toronto and he trained
war veterans in Toronto to service TV's. Lloyd received the Independent
Order Oddfellows. He was a member of the South Mountain United
Church.
The funeral was held at South Mountain United Church on July 9,
2005 with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating. Interment followed
at South Mountain Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Oddfellows Victor Hughes, Claude Brisebois, Ron
Derraugh, John Pinhey, Bill Williams, Roger Francis, and David
Scharf.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home
in South Mountain.
