Evelyn Pearl Helmer
Evelyn Pearl Helmer passed away unexpectedly on Wed., July 20, 2005. She was 83.
She was born in Chesterville on Aug. 18, 1921. Evelyn was the second eldest of four children to Percy and Daisy Fyke.
She married Ralph (deceased) in 1943 at Elma, Ontario. They raised their family, the late Garth (Judi), Patsy (Gerald) and Rhonna, in Chesterville.
Evelyn enjoyed the company of her grandchildren Barry, Chris (Joanna), Angela (Kevin), Rodney (Penny), Sherri, Hatley, and Graham. She also had six great-grandchildren, Lacey, Staci, Kyler, Brittney, Michaela, and Jacob. Evelyn was the sister of Marcia (late Darcy) Harper, Don and Bert Fyke (deceased).
She will also be missed by her concerned and caring neighbors and friends.
An urnment service was held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville on Wed., July 27, 2005.
