Elizabeth Anne Johnson

March 4, 1932 - May 14, 2005

Anne was the eldest of three children born to George and Elizabeth (MacDonald) Van Bridger. She was born in Winchester, Ont. March 4 1932 and passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer, on May 14 2005 in Yellowknife, NT.
Anne is survived by her husband Sid, whom she married in Yellowknife in 1973. She is also survived by her daughter Donna, son John, brother Tom and sister Nancy. She was predeceased by her son Paul.
Anne held a number of positions in the Government of the Northwest Territories including the Power Corporation where she worked until her retirement.
The funeral service was held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on Thurs., May 19. Bishop Christopher Williams celebrated the service. Internment took place at Mount Lawn Cemetery in Oshawa early this month.
