Donald Chandler Keiver
Donald Chandler Keiver passed away at Dundas Manor in Winchester on Dec. 30, 2005. He was 77.
He was the son of the late Annie and Lamert Keiver. Donald was born on Oct. 26, 1928 in Nova Scotia. He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce Cross. Donald is the dear brother of Rae, Verna Giles, Shirley Palmer, and Jim, all of Nova Scotia. He was the brother-in-law of Pauline Sharkey, Jacqueline Cross (Clare Elliott), Carole Coughlar, all of Winchester and Danny Gordon of Kemptville. He was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Winchester Funeral Home on Jan. 1, 2006. The funeral service was held in the chapel on Jan. 2 with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
The pallbearers were Wade Keiver, Ron Coughlar, Bobby Sharkey, Michael Gordon, Keith Shaver, and Bruce Kerr. A reception was held at the Winchester United Church and was enjoyed by all.
