Kathleen "Kay" Lazier
Kathleen Lazier (nee Kerr) of Toronto, formerly of Belleville, passed away at Toronto East General Hospital on June 30, 2005. She was 88.
She was the wife of the late Orley Lazier. She was born on March 27, 1917 in Mountain Township to the late Lindsay Kerr and the late Matilda Lewis. She was the sister of Rose Mulligan, Eunice Plummer, George (Ethel) Kerr, and Bernice Kerr, and was predeceased by Lorne, Wilfred, Homer and Charles Kerr, Lois Bell, Helen Hepburn and Marjorie Kerr. She was the aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was formerly a school teacher and secretary in the public school board. She was a member of the United Church.
The funeral was held in the Chapel of the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on July 4 with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating, followed by cremation.
