Leonard Joseph McEvoy
Leonard Joseph McEvoy of South Mountain passed away at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on April 1, 2005. He was 53.
He was born on June 3, 1951 in Ottawa to Angus James McEvoy (deceased) and Christina Laura Arcand. He is survived by sister Shirley McEvoy. He was nephew of many aunts and uncles.
He was a stock keeper and worked in inventory at Warren's House of Britches, and he worked in lawncare at L & S Lawn Care. He was a member of St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Church in South Mountain.
The funeral was held on April 4 at St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Cosmos officiating. There will be a spring interment at St. Daniel's Catholic Cemetery. The pallbearers were Hugh LeBlanc, Willy Meerakker, John Havekes Jr., Chuck Preston, Marlyn O'Connor, and Gerald Christie.
