Lynn McPhee
Lynn McPhee of RR3 Prescott passed away suddenly on Wed., Nov. 16, 2005 at Brockville General Hospital. He was 51.
He is survived by his partner Ava Venema and parents Donald and Audrey McPhee (nee Duvall) of Winchester. He is also survived by son Glen (Marie Josee "M.J.") of Cornwall, and sister Judy (Gary) Tyo of Berwick. He was the dear grandfather of Vanessa and Michelle and is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lynn was born in Cornwall on Sept. 14, 1954. He operated a wood processing business until health problems forced him to retire in 2003. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed doing metal fabrication and spending time outdoors. He had lived at his Prescott residence for 23 years and had also resided at Dunnville and Stoney Creek.
Friends called at Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Nov. 19. The funeral was held at the funeral home the same day with Rev. Janet Evans officiating. The pallbearers were Glen McPhee and Peter Venema. Interment followed at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg.
Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
