Irene Violet Robinson
Irene Violet Robinson (nee Weir) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on Jan. 5, 2005. She was 94.
She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Ross C. Robinson. She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Julianne; daughter Gail and her husband Dr. Charles Shamess; grandchildren Jeffrey and Daniel Robinson, and Kristen and David Shamess; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Phoebe and her husband Dr. Paul Rutherford of Chicago, Illinois and sister-in-law Marion Judson of Athens, Ontario.
The funeral service was held at Christ Church Anglican in Brampton on Jan. 11 followed by interment in Athens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
