Leisa Jean Tremblay
Leisa Jean Tremblay
(nee Hess) of South Mountain, formerly of Heckston, passed away
May 15, 2005 at the Ottawa General Hospital. She was 42.
She was the wife of Leonard Tremblay whom she married in South
Mountain on July 29, 2000. She is survived by children Sarah,
Kristin, Jared and Logan. She was the daughter-in-law of Donat
Tremblay and the late Ethel Tremblay. She was sister of Dave (Debbie),
Anne (Paul VanLuit), Don (Jennifer), and Allan (Lana). She was
sister-in-law of Nancy Roderick and Heather Racine (Allan). She
was aunt of Carley, Megan, Ryan, Robin, Denis, Justin, Alex, Cassidy,
Parker, Stephanie, and Matthew.
She was born on August 15, 1962 in Oxford, Ont. to John Hess and
Jean Baker. She was a registered nurse and worked in community
nursing as an R.N. with Bayshore Health Services and ParaMed.
She attended St. Lawrence College and was a graduate of North
Grenville High School. She was a former 4H member and leader,
and was past President of Grenville 4H. She was a member of Heckston
United Church.
The funeral service was held at South Mountain United Church on
May 18 with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating. Interment followed
at South Gower Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South
Mountain.
