Leonard Thomas Trillo
Leonard Thomas Trillo died peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on March 19, 2005 after a long illness. He was 80.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Margery (nee Sutherland) Trillo. He was the devoted father of Bill and Dan Trillo. He was the dear Poppy Len of grandchildren Sarah and Jeffery Trillo, and Victoria and Riley Beckstead. He was the specia "Daddy" to Maggie Everts. He is survived by brother-in-law Robson Sutherland and wife Anne, and daughter-in-law Kelly O'Brien-Trillo. He was predeceased by granddaughter Chelsea Trillo.
He was born on Feb. 1, 1925 in Ystrad Mynach, Wales to the late Arthur and Rhiannon. He was a retired teacher at North Dundas District High School.
At Len's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on April 2 at 11 am at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Queen Street in Chesterville with Rev. Brian Kauk officiating.
The arrangements are entrusted to the Chesterville Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr. D. Flowers for their dedicated care over the last 10 years.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
