Dale Winters
Dale Winters of
Long Sault passed away at home on Feb. 17, 2005. He was 46.
He is survived by his wife Judith Winters (nee Pemberton) whom
he married in Cornwall on May 17, 1991. He was born on April 22,
1958 to the late Maurice Winters.
He is survived by brothers and sisters: Doug (Noreen) Winters
of Cornwall; Lindsay (Allison) Winters of Martintown; Diane (David)
Lauzon of Cornwall; and Linda (Pete) Embling of Cornwall. He is
also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was son-in-law of Carl and Nina Pemberton of Elma. He was a
dear friend of Gary and Laurie Barkley of Williamsburg, and Walt
and Theresa Casselman of Morrisburg.
He was a lifetime resident of the area. He lived at his previous
address for three years. He worked at a variety of occupations
during his lifetime including bartender at the Pioneer Hotel,
transport driver with KBD Transportation, Kriska Transportation,
clerk at Morrisburg Building Centre and Beaver Lumber in Brockville,
convenience store manager, and most recently he worked as a laborer
in the recycling deptartment with the City of Cornwall. He enjoyed
reading, travelling, and watching wrestling and movies on TV.
He had a big heart for his cats. In the 1980s he coached girls
hockey in Morrisburg.
There was no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements were
entrusted to the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated
by the family.
