Lloyd James Hyndman

Lloyd James Hyndman of Bayfield Manor, passed away on Oct., 18, 2006 at the Kemptville District Hospital. He was 93.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1913 in Mountain Township to the late Robert Rowe Hyndman and the late Mary Wright. He was predeceased in 1999 by his wife Hilda Barkley whom he married in 1937 in Inkerman. He was the father of Lorna Boyd (the late Robert), Myrna Norton (Ray), Reg (Janice), Barry, and the late Ron. He is survived by grandchildren: Steve Norton (Janet), Darcy Hyndman, Derek Hyndman (Monica), Sherry Hyndman, Mark Norton, April Vanschie (Derek), Courtney and Randy Hyndman, and by great-grandchildren: Jana, Marissa, Taylor, Bailey, Kate, and Keri Norton; and Paige, Jenna, and Jadyn Hyndman. He was predeceased by siblings Winnie, Freda, Bryson, and Mabel. He was the cherished friend of Dorothy McRae Gilmer.
Formerly of Mountain, he was a farmer, and a member of the Hallville United Church.
The funeral was held on Oct. 21, 2006 at the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating, followed by interment at South Gower Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Steve Norton, Derek Hyndman, Sherry Hyndman, Mark Norton, April Vanschie, and Derek Vanschie.
