Eleanor Johnston

Janet Eleanor Johnston (nee Annable) passed away on Fri., June 23, 2006 at Dundas Manor in Winchester. She was 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Johnston. She was the loving mother of Earle (Ruth), Murray (Mary), Donald (Eunice), Winston (Eileen), Janice (Warren Ross), and Mavis (late Ron McIntyre). She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Ethel Riddell and sister-in-law of Mabel Annable. She was predeceased by her brothers Edward and Raymond and her sister Euretta.

Friends paid their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home on June 25. The funeral service was held June 26 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
