Jean Isabel McConnell

Jean Isabel McConnell (nee Rorison) formerly of Morewood, passed away peacefully at the Bayfield Manor Nursing Home in Kemptville on April 23, 2006. She was 94.
She was the beloved wife and very best friend of the late Charles "Hume" McConnell who passed away in 2005. She was the loving mother of Marion (Joe) Goncalves of Morewood. She was the cherished grandmother of Patricia (Tim) Bilmer of Morrisburg, Tom (Shannon) Goncalves of Cornwall, and Heather (Shane Mark) Goncalves of Morewood. She was the dear great-grandmother of Victor and Vincent Bilmer of Morrisburg; Brooke Goncalves of Cornwall; and Austin Goncalves of Morewood. She is survived by her niece Diane Monteith of London. She was predeceased by her son Blair McConnell and stepbrother Thomas McCord.
Friends and family will gather for a memorial service at Morewood United Church on April 26 at 1 pm with Rev. Mary Lou Shortill and Rev. Bert de Bruijn officiating, followed by inurnment at Morewood United Cemetery.
