Henry Westenbroek
Henry Westenbroek of RR1 Williamsburg passed
away at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Jan. 16, 2006.
He was 46.
He was born Nov. 6, 1959 in Winchester to Tony and Mary (nee Verhoeven)
Westenbroek. Henry was husband to Debbie Bongers whom he married
in South Mountain on Sept. 4, 1982. He was the father of Dana
and Anthony Westenbroek. He was the son-in-law of Martin and Martina
Bongers, and the late Mary Bongers. He was the brother of Gerry
(Rachel), Tony, and Peter (Roxanne). He was the brother-in-law
of the Bongers family, and was uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Henry was a welder with Parmalat Canada. He received the most
improved welder's award from Kemptville College-University of
Guelph. He was a member of the Canadian Welding Association. Henry
was a member of St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Church in South Mountain.
He volunteered with the Winchester Springs Recreation Association.
The funeral was held at St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Church on
Jan. 20 with Father John Gillis officiating. Cremation followed.
Pallbearers were his son Anthony Westenbroek, his nephew Jack
Westenbroek, Peter Marriner, Wayne Stewart, Steve Smirle, and
Gary Steele.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South
Mountain.
