Iola Bedard

Iola Bedard (nee Halladay) of Winchester, formerly of Mountain, passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Fri., May 18, 2007. She was 80.
She was the beloved wife of Laurian (Babe) Bedard. She was the loving mother of Bob Derraugh (Heather), Ron Derraugh (Joyce), and Sharyon Smith (Keith). She was the cherished nanny and grand-nan of Sherry (Rick), Bill (Jen), Tammy (Chris), Christine (Kelly), Bob (Melinda), and Paul (Amy); and Amanda, Shawn, Kyle, Hailey, Zoe, Emma, Jesse, and Chelsea.
By Iola's request there was no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service was held in the chapel of the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on May 22.
By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
