Ada Lois Bolton

Ada Lois Bolton (nee McEwan) passed away July 9, 2007 at Rosebridge Manor in Jasper, Ont. She was 80.
She was born May 9, 1927 on Van Camp Road in Mountain Township to the late Robert McEwan and the late Susie White. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Bolton in 1995. She was the mother of Brenda Hutt, Gary Bolton (Lucille), Bob Bolton (Valerie), Tom (Jo-Anne), and Barry (Donna). She was the grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was the step-sister of Nelson Belanger and was predeceased by 10 step-brothers and step-sisters.
Formerly of Smiths Falls and Winchester, she was a house cleaner and an Avon consultant. She was a member of the Anglican church.
A graveside committal service was held July 10 at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville with Rev. Naomi Kabugi officiating.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
