Kenneth Malcolm Cooper

Kenneth Malcolm Cooper passed away peacefully at Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on Feb. 3, 2007. He was 86.
He was the beloved husband of Betty Jean Dowser. He was the most loved father of the late Bob (Eleanor), Diane (David Chillingworth), Sue (Rhod) MacGregor, and the late Norma Jean. He was the dearly loved "Papa" to Glen, Ken, Greg, Jeff, Holly, Carri, Jennifer, Jeremy, Angela, and Tim. He was the great-grandfather of 14. He was the youngest son of Robbie and Louisa (Sheldrick) Cooper. He was predeceased by brothers Everett, Winston, Lawrence, Chester, and Norman, and by sisters Ella Herrington, Muriel Ross, Hazel Ross, and Marjorie Patzer. Kenny will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Friends called at the Perth and District Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre in Perth on Feb. 6 in the afternoon. A second visitation was held at the Daley Family Funeral Home in Metcalfe that evening, and on Feb. 7 from noon until the time of the service in the chapel of the funeral home, which was followed by a reception. There will be a spring interment in Matawatchan, Ont.
Donations to the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully received.
