Tim Cordick
Director of the Dalhousie Group of Homes
Education and Treatment Centre
At the Beckstead cottage, in the presence of
loved ones, Timothy "Tim" D. Cordick passed away at
the age of 42.
He was the beloved husband, partner, and best friend of Lori Beckstead.
He will be sadly missed by his three well-loved dogs and his cat.
He was the cherished son of Dick and Marion (Kelly) Cordick, and
son-in-law of Gordon and Marilyn (Pemberton) Beckstead, all of
Ottawa. He is survived also by brothers Paul, Dave (Penny), and
brother-in-law Jeff Beckstead. He was predeceased by infant brother
Terrence. He will be fondly remembered by his five nieces and
nephews, as well as an extended Beckstead/Cordick family. For
many wonderful friends from work, school and sports, he will always
be an inspiration.
At Tim's request, there was no visitation. Friends and family
joined in a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John's Church in Perth
on Wed., Sept. 26, 2007 to celebrate his amazing life.
In memory of his dedication to marginalized children and youth,
and his interest in animals, donations to Big Brothers/Big Sisters
of Lanark County, or Lanark Animal Welfare Society, in Tim's name
would be gratefully appreciated.
Arrangements were in the care of Blair and Son Funeral Directors
in Perth. Condolences to the family may be made to condolences@blairandson.com.
