Dwight J. Dawley

(1919 - 2007)
Dwight J. Dawley passed away on Wed., May 23, 2007, in the presence of his family at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He was 87.
He was the cherished husband of 66 years to Myrtle Simmons. He was the loving father of Linda (Peter Burman), Diane (John Sauvé), the late Barbara Dickson, and father-in-law to Alan Major. He was the adored grandfather of Kyle, Trevor, Tim, Todd, Alana, Shawn, and Danielle, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Lula Hanes (late George), and Raymond Dawley (Dorothy), and brother-in-law of Ruby Dawley and Marion Dawley. He was a son of the late Melvin and Sadie (Saddlemire) Dawley. He was predeceased by brothers Basil and Stirling, and a sister Wilma.
He was a longtime member of the Holstein-Friesian Association of Canada.
Friends paid their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home on May 25. The funeral service was held May 26 in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
