Ann Ginies

Ann Ginies (nee Kerkhof) of Winchester passed away at home Feb. 20, 2007. She was 78.
She was born on Dec. 26, 1928 in Veghel, Holland to the late Cornelius Kerkhof and the late Wilhelmina Lamberta Swinkels. She was the wife of the late Arthur Ginies who passed away in 1991. She is survived by her sons Andy Van Sleeuwen (Danielle), and William Van Sleuwen (Terri). She was the sister of Dilia Hopmans (Jim), Rita Cooper (Gordon), Jean Keyzer (the late John), Anthony Kerkhof (Barbara), and Piet Kerkhof (Linda).
As a business woman, she was a realtor/real estate broker, and owner of Van Sleuwen Real Estate Ltd.
A private funeral was held on Feb. 23 at Capital Memorial Gardens in Ottawa.
Donations to SD&G branch of the Ontario SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
