John Weldon Irven

J. Weldon Irven of Morewood passed away peacefully at the Osgoode Township Care Centre on Tues., Dec. 18, 2007. He was 90.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Graham). He was the loving father of Victoria Jean (Maurice) Nielson of Embrun, Carol (Rene) Vandenheem of Chesterville, Andrew of Chesterville, Linda (the late Jim) Armstrong of Ottawa, Laurie (John) Sitka of Ottawa, Trudy Irven of Ottawa, Mark (Mary) Irven of Ottawa, and the late Dennis (Margaret). He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. He will be fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Thurs., Dec. 20. The funeral was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Fri., Dec. 21 followed by interment at Morewood United Cemetery.
Donations to the Osgoode Township Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
