Lawrence Frederick McKee

Lawrence Frederick McKee of Cornwall, formerly of Cardinal, passed away on Mon., Aug. 6, 2007. He was 76.
He was born on March 13, 1931 in Inkerman to the late Hugh McKee and Annie McKee. He is survived by daughters Marnie Fossitt (Jonas), Reina DeJong (Albert), Cathy Lindberg, Connie McCullough (Brian), Lawreen Barber (Randy), and Lawretta McKee; grandchildren Gregory, Matthew, Julie, Colin, Kaitlyn, Craig, Ashley, Jesse, Devyn, and Ryan; great-grandchildren Abigail, Charles, Thomas, Rory, and Wade; sisters Eileen Gordon, and Sharron McGovern; and brother Robert McKee. He was predeceased by brothers Albert and Leonard.
He was an equipment operator and carpenter. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
The funeral was held at St. Daniels Roman Catholic Church on Aug. 9 with Father Appleman officiating. The pallbearers were grandsons Greg DeJong, Matthew DeJong, Colin Fossitt, Jesse Lindberg, and Craig McCullough; and brother Robert McKee.
The arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
