Francis 'Frank' Hubertus Scheepers
March 12, 1945 - Aug. 29, 2007
It is with great sadness the family of Frank Scheepers announces
his passing in his 63rd year at the Winchester District Memorial
Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Pauline
Moss. He was much loved and will be deeply missed by his children
Frank Jr. (Laurie), and Scott (Stacey). He was the cherished Grandpa
of Cassidy, Madison, Abbie, MacKenzie, and Ashton. He will be
fondly remembered by brothers Peter (Alida), Hank (Betty), and
Bert (Karen), and sister Annie (late Ray Dignard). He is survived
by sisters-in-law Helen (Grant Yoxon), Lorraine (late Ron Bell)
(Stephen), Alice (Bob Laushway), and brothers-in-law Rene Moss
(late Toni) (Phyllis), and Roger Moss (Sharon). Uncle Frank will
be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by his parents, Hubert and Johanna, and his sister Maria.
He was born in Son, Holland and came to Canada Feb. 1, 1952. He
worked in the sheet metal trade for 47 years and made many close
friends throughout that time. He loved being a member of the Knights
of Columbus and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved
Nascar, travelling, camping, working on projects at the shop with
his sons, and nothing pleased him more than a sunny day at the
campground with Pauline, his dog Spencer, his grandchildren, family
and friends surrounding him.
Friends paid their respects at the Chesterville Funeral Home on
Fri., Aug. 31. A mass in memory of Frank was held Sat., Sept
1 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chesterville.
In memoriam donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital
would be appreciated.
