Audrey Slater

Audrey Gwendoline Slater (nee Hines) of Avonmore passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Fri., June 22, 2007. She was 86.
She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart Slater. She was the loved mother of Clifford Slater (Marie-Paul) of Grand-Remous, Que., Sharon Syvret of Montreal, Zane Slater (Carole) of Sioux-Lookout, Ont., Jane Slater (Jean) of Val D'Or, Que., and Gerry Slater (Mary) of Finch. She will be sadly missed by her three grandchildren Nancy, Leah, and Ashley, and her one great-grandchild Marina. She was predeceased by one son, Alistiar, and her parents George and Agnes (Bateson) Hines.
The visitation was private. A private service in celebration of Audrey Slater's life will be held at a later date. Interment was at the Finch Community Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Brownlee Funeral Home in Finch.
