Bonnie Louise Small
Bonnie Louise Small (nee Richmire) passed away
after a ten year battle with cancer at her residence on Feb. 23,
2007, surrounded by her loving family. She was 66.
She was the loved daughter of Audrey and the late George Richmire.
She was the beloved wife of Rodney for 48 years. She was the dear
mother of Corry of Burlington, Anthony of Barrie, and Sherry (Robert)
McArthur of Stayner. She was the cherished nana and grandmother
of Kevin, Kyle, Brock, Kelsey, Rusty, and Naomi. She was sister
to Audrey Cross of Chesterville, George of Williamsburg, Evelyn
of Barrie, Gloria (Ken) McNalty of Morrisburg, Maynard (Bonnie)
of Williamsburg, Raymond of Riverside Heights, Clarke (Barb) of
Perth, Beverley of Williamsburg, Penney (Clifford) Townsley of
Dixons Corners, the late Winnifred, and the late Ethel.
Friends called at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home in Barrie
on Feb. 25. The funeral service was held on Feb. 26 in the chapel
of the funeral home. Interment will take place in the spring at
Thornton Union Cemetery.
In Mrs. Small's memory, the family would appreciate donations
to the Royal Victoria Hospital Oncology Department, Hospice Georgian
Triangle, or to the Princess Margaret Hospital Oncology Department.
