Myrtle Rose Snodgrass

Myrtle Rose Snodgrass (nee Carkner) of Morrisburg, formerly of Winchester, passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Mon., April 2, 2007. She was 90.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Wm. Helmer and Paul Snodgrass. She was the loving mother of Rosaline (Elmer) Carlson of Blind River, Bryan (Joann) Helmer of Winchester, Wayne (Barbara) Helmer of Cobourg, David (Ruth) Snodgrass of Hamilton, and daughter-in-law Devra Helmer of Morrisburg. She was the cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William Helmer, sister Irene Parrish, and brother Ewart Carkner.
Friends will be received at Parker Funeral Home, 28 Sir James Morris Drive in Morrisburg on Wed., April 4 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thurs., April 5, at 11 am. Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
