Rena Mary Wicks

Rena Mary Wicks (nee Dumoulin) of South Mountain passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tues., Sept. 11, 2007. She was 80.
She was predeceased by her parents Antonius and Amanda Dumoulin. She was the beloved wife of Fred Wicks and the late Alex Nevins. She was the loving mother of Lucille Bolton (Gary) of South Mountain, Mary Ann Stewart (Gord) of Winchester, Alex Nevins (Lu Ann) of Greely, Jeffery Nevins of South Mountain, Wayne Nevins of Ottawa, and Rita Martin (John) of Vars. She was the cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Irene, Marion, Rene, Roger, and the late Raoul and Rita Dumoulin.
By Rena's request there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A memorial graveside service will be held at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church Cemetery, 5338 Bank St., South Gloucester on Sat., Sept. 29 at 12:30 pm.
By family request donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
