Thomas Charles Anderson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather, Charles Anderson, on Thurs., Sept. 25, 2008. He was 86.
He leaves behind his loving family: his daughter Pamela Docksteader (Brian) of Calgary, his sons Wayne (Arlene) of Philadelphia, Donald (Carolyn) of Cambridge, and Stuart (Jane) of Brampton, sister Dorothy McCrimmon, and brother Russell (Jean), both of Vankleek Hill, and sister-in-law Muriel MacDonald of Huntsville. He will be lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren, his great-grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Margaret (nee MacDonald), his parents Leslie Anderson and Florence Fletcher, his sister Eileen, his brothers Lloyd and Keith, as well as an infant stillborn son, MacDonald Anderson.
Relatives and friends called at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. in Maxville on Sun., Sept. 28. A funeral service was held at Maxville United Church on Mon., Sept. 29, followed by interment at Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery in Kirk Hill.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Charles, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows ­ memories live.
