Deltra "Del" Ball

Deltra "Del" Ball (nee Thompson) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 23, 2008 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. She was 85.
She was the loving mother of Wayne (Helen) of B.C., the late Arden (Beverley), Sandra (Art Anderson) of Amherstburg, Lorraine (Ray Robert) of Stoney Point, Bonnie (Paul McManus) of Amherstburg, and Robert (the late Lorrie) of Williamsburg. She will be missed dearly by her 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Trina Bashura.
Del enjoyed her times with the Golden Age Club in Amherstburg.
Visitation was held at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home in Amherstburg on Jan 25. The funeral service was held on Jan. 26 at the funeral home, followed by cremation.
As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Del in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sun., Sept. 28, 2008. All are welcome.
