Bruce Milton Barkley

Bruce Milton Barkley, a resident of St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, passed away on July 20, 2008 at the Brockville General Hospital. He was 89.
He was born on July 29, 1918 in Inkerman to the late Frank Barkley and the late Violet Curriston. He was predeceased by his wife Lenora Mack, whom he married on June 27, 1953 in Inkerman. He was the father of Linda Millar (Elwyn), Terry, and Greg (Cheryl), and was the grandfather of Kathy, Daryl, Tyler, and Shawn Millar, as well as Brittany, Bradley, and Nicholas Barkley. He was the brother of Keith and Lyle, and was predeceased by Lester, Murray, Evelyn York, and Ray. He will be sadly missed by many members of the Mack family.
He was a farmer, and a member of the Inkerman Wesleyan Church.
The funeral will be held at Inkerman Wesleyan Church on Wed., July 23, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Anita Goulet officiating followed by interment at Knights Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Daryl Millar, Ron Mack, Wilfred Barkley, Winston Purdy, Carman Morris, and Tom Allison.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
