Robert Dean Duke

Robert D. Duke of Morewood died suddenly as a result of an accident on April 4, 2008. He was 71.
He was the son of Hazel (Stewart) and the late Robert Duke of Winchester. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen Duke. He was the loving father of Eddie and Robbie of Cornwall, and the cherished brother of Shelvia (Jim) Clark of Gravenhurst, and Denzil (Margaret) of Winchester. He was predeceased by an infant brother Leonard. He was an uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law of Winston, Mildred, and John Marrs.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Mon., April 7. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tues., April 8 with Rev. Bruce North officiating, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. The pallbearers were Oscar Laub, Thomas MacGregor, Eldon Moss, Bob Mattice, Stewart Carruthers, and Graham Duke.
