Mary Beatrice Flegg-McPhail
Feb. 22, 1937 to Jan. 23, 2008

Mary Beatrice Flegg-McPhail of Hamilton died suddenly after a brief illness at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thurs., Jan. 24, 2008. She was 70.
She was the loving daughter of Ruby Steele-Lancaster and her husband Weldon of Kanata, Ont., and the late David Vincent Steele. She was the beloved wife of the late John McPhail. She was the loving mother of Rose (Brian Rolson) of St. George, Vincent (Jeanne) Flegg, and Ronald (Michelle) Flegg all of Hamilton. She was the dear step-mother to Dennis and Bonnie McPhail. She was the dear grandma of 10 grandchildren, and the dear sister of Jim Steele (June), John Steele (Marg), and Sharon Foster (Gord). She was predeceased by step-son Patrick McPhail.
The family received friends on Jan. 26 at the Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel (King Street East at Wellington) in Hamilton. The funeral service was held at St. Paul's United Church in Hamilton on Jan. 27. Interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville on Jan. 29.
