Clelland Hamilton

Clelland Hamilton of Russell passed away in hospital on Mon., Oct. 20, 2008. He was 94.
He was the beloved husband of Ruby (James). He was the dear father of Doris (Clarence Prescott) of Winchester, Ernest (Judy) of Russell, Ruth Marr of Red Deer, Alta., and Stephen (Betty Ann) of Vars. He was loved by 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Wilmer (Ethel) of Russell.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home in Metcalfe on Wed., Oct. 22. An Orange and Black service was held on Wed., Oct. 22 at the funeral home. The funeral was held on Thurs., Oct. 23 at St. Andrew's and St. Paul's United Church in Russell, followed by interment at North Russell Cemetery. The pallbearers were George James, Les James, Robert Hamilton, Allan Haas, Eugene Boucher, and Geroge Clarkin.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or St. Andrew's and St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the St. Viateur Nursing Home in Limoges.
