Franklyn Rombough MacDonald

Franklyn Rombough MacDonald of Napanee, formerly of Mountain, passed away on Sept. 18, 2008 after a brief illness. He was 78.

He was born on July 4, 1930 in Winchester to the late Allan and Lola MacDonald. He is survived by his daughter Wendy Schroeder, granddaughter Dawn Bailey Schroeder, and by Vivian Blaine and family, and Georgina Collinson and family.
He was a graduate of Kemptville Agricultural College. He was a former inspector with the Ontario Department of Agriculture. During his retirement he became an entrepreneur, buying and selling houses. He was a member of the Odd Fellows in South Mountain, and a member of Hallville United Church.

The funeral will be held at Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on Sat., Sept. 27 at 10 am with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating, followed by cremation at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
