Gerald Hector St. Pierre

"Gerry" Hector St. Pierre of Morrisburg died suddenly at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Mon., Feb. 18, 2008. He was 69.
He was the loving husband of Irene (Menard) St. Pierre of Morrisburg. He was the dear father of Nicole (Thomas Moriarty) Robinson of Chesterville, Suzanne (John) Miczki of Ottawa, Paul (Tracey) of Shanly, and Marc (Michelle) of Morrisburg. He was the devoted grandfather of Michael, Shawn, Marc, Devin, Ashley, Ryan, Meghan, and Victoria, and great-grandfather of Spencer and Todd. He will be missed by godsons Donald and David. He will be sadly missed by brothers Edward of Alberta, and Ronald "Butch" (Pauline) of Sudbury, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Irene Leger and Hector St. Pierre, sister Angeline Gray, and brothers Edgar and Daniel.
Gerry was a carpenter by trade and worked at Upper Canada Village. His hobbies were woodworking and golfing, as well as driving for Upper Canada Motors.
Friends will be received at the Parker Funeral Home, 28 Sir James Morris Dr. in Morrisburg on Wed., Feb 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Morrisburg on Thurs., Feb. 21 at 11 am with Father R. J. Chisholm presiding. Cremation will follow with inurnment in Notre Dame Cemetery in Cornwall.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Flowers, the ambulance attendants, OPP officers, the Morrisburg Fire Department, and the attending staff at Winchester District Memorial Hospital for their care and concern.
