Vivian Viola Strader
Vivian Viola Strader (nee Fetterly), a veteran
of the Second World War (Wrens), died at Dundas Manor on July
31, 2008. She was 88.
She was the wife of the late Harry Strader of Winchester and Peterborough.
She was the loved mother of Lynda Thompson (Michael) of Morrisburg,
and Kathryn McEwen (John). She was the daughter of the late Carl
and Viola (nee Hess) Fetterly, and the sister of the late Gerald
Fetterly of Nanaimo, BC, and the late Glendon Fetterly of Mountain.
She leaves to mourn her sister Verna Welsh of Port Moody, BC,
brother Lorne of St. Catharines, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews, as well as sisters-in-law Helen (Lorne) and Nelda
Strader (Cecil).
As per Vivian's wishes she was cremated, and a private interment
will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville at a later
date.
