Geraldine Emma Suffel

Geraldine Emma Suffel (nee Cook), formerly of Inkerman Station, passed away at Dundas Manor on March 19, 2008. She was 93.
She was born on Sept. 1, 1914 in Shanley to the late Allison J. Cook and the late Agnes Diana Wereley. She was the wife of the late George Suffel, whom she married on Aug. 16, 1939 at Shanley United Church. She was the mother of Kathy and Richard (Debbie). She was the grandmother of Jeff, Christina, Brian, Tom, Shauna, and John. She was the sister of Vivian Fawcett, and was predeceased by her brothers Garnet, Doug, and Gerald, and half-sister Lorena.
She was formerly an elementary school teacher and farm wife. She attended Ottawa Normal School in 1935. She was a member of Inkerman United Church, the U.C.W., and the Women's Institute.
Visitation was held on March 22 at Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
Memorial donations may be made to Inkerman United Church.
