Christel Vogel

Christel Vogel (nee Kracht) of Berwick passed away peacefully at her residence on Thurs., Sept. 25, 2008. She was 84.
She was the beloved wife of Henrich Vogel. She was the loved mother of Trudy Vogel of Toronto and Henry Vogel of Renfrew. She was the beloved omie to Tiffany Vogel of Toronto. She will be sadly missed by her loving Jack Russell terrier Rosie. She was the dear sister of Anna Marie and Erhard Kracht, both of Mellenthin, Germany. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family in Germany. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Freida Kracht, and one brother Walter.
Visitation was held at the Brownlee Funeral Home in Finch on Fri., Sept. 26. A service in celebration of Christel's life was held in Chalmer's United Church in Finch on Sat. Sept. 27 with Rev. Lois Gaudet officiating. Interment followed at Finch Community Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the North Stormont Senior Support Centre would be appreciated by the family.
