Eileen Armstrong

Sister Eileen passed away peacefully on the morning of Fri., April 17, 2009 at the Dundas Manor. She was 83.
She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Margaret Brown and dear mother of Elaine (Emerson) McNaughton, Dwaine (Carol), Shirley (Warren) Reddick, Sandra Merkley, Diane Sitt, Dale (Janet) and Mike (Joan). She was the adored grandmother of Scott and Mark; Clayton, Allison and Jenny; Jill, Darryl and Denzil; Tracy and Kelly; Natalie and Angela; Ryan; and Jessica and Sean. She was the great-grandmother of 16. She will be greatly missed by Sidney Armstrong, and her sisters Verda Clements, Phyliss McCauley, and Mary Stewart. She is predeceased by her son Garry, sisters Anna Sommerville, Greta Lobb, and Sybil Skuce and brothers Stan Brown and Bob Brown.
Visitation was held on Sun., April 19 at the Winchester Funeral Home, and on Mon., April 20 at 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at Harmony Community Church. Interment followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. The pallbearers were Clayton Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Natalie Sitt, Erwin Skuce, Scott McNaughton, and Darryl Gow.
