Ruby L. Crowder

Ruby Crowder (nee Murdock) of Winchester, formerly of South Mountain, passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tues., June 23, 2009. She was 85.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred Crowder. She was the loving Mom of Ray (Joanne) of Brockville, Sandy Longpre (Gilles) of Ottawa, and Connie-Gail Crowder (Frank Fata) of South Mountain. She was the cherished Nan of Tara Skarpaas, Tanya Crowder; Jon, Robert, and Kristy Longpre; Christopher Fata-Crowder, and five great-grandchildren.
By Ruby and her family's request there will be no visitation. Cremation. A private family service was held.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain, (613-989-3836).
