Albert J. Dunbar

Albert J. Dunbar of Winchester passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tue., April 14, 2009. He was 97.
He was the beloved husband of the late Leila and Beulah. He was the cherished father of Marvin (Darlene), Wayne (Margaret), and Eileen (George) Prosser. He will be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren Kathy, Jay, Bethany, Tammy, Shawna, Pam, and Tricia and nine great-grandchildren. He was the loved brother of Nellie McEwen (Sterling), and Clare (Mildred). He was predeceased by sister Hazel Holmes and brothers Harold and Floyd.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester, on Sun., April 19. The funeral service was held in the Winchester Wesleyan Church on Mon, April 20 with Rev. Thurland Brown and Rev. Krista Shaver attending. The pallbearers were Jay Dunbar, Ellwood Craig, Trevor Harrison, Mike Morris, Dave Bryan and Allan Hutchinson. Interment followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
