Rev. Carson William Duquette

Rev. Carson William Duquette died peacefully in hospital outside of his home at Orchard View Living Centre, on Thurs., Dec. 17, 2009. He was 96.
He was the beloved husband of the late Hélène Vessot. He was the loving father of Mary-Ellen (Bruce Garlough), and Suzanne (Dick Stanton). He was predeceased by his son Charles William. He was the proud Apapa of Jason and Simon, and uncle to Roy Duquette.
He was the son of the late William Duquette and Armeline Madore. He was predeceased by sisters Blanche and Erma, and by brothers Wilbrod, Edward, Waldick, and Wallace.
He will be fondly remembered by many cousins, extended family and friends. He was a cherished friend to many during his ministries throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Special thanks to Joe, Dana and Rosalia Princiotta, and all of the staff and residents of Orchard View Living Centre who truly became his second family.
Friends paid their respect at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (Ottawa) on Sat., Dec. 19. The funeral service was held on Mon., Dec 21 at Parkdale United Church.
In lieu of flowers, in memorial donations to Parkdale United, Eganville United, Williamsburg United, Templeton United Church or l'église unie St-Marc would be appreciated.
