Marie Blanche Greenough

Marie Blanche Greenough (nee White) passed away after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on Fri., Aug. 14, 2009. She was 82.
She is the loving mom of Lloyd (Jean), George, Sheila (Gord), Betty Ann (Ron), Carolyn, Thom (Delaine), Ralph (Sue), Jan, and Charles (Katie).
She is the cherished grandmother of 25 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is a dear sister of Anne and she is pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas and Hazel White, her brother Clifford, and her husband Lloyd Howard Greenough.
She was a proud member and past Matron of Winchester Chapter #310 and Capital City Chapter #172 O.E.S. She was a renowned pie maker for the Red Dot Cafe, in Osgoode.
By Marie's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at the St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Church, in South Mountain on Thurs., Aug. 20 at 11 am. Interment will be held at Shad Bay, Nova Scotia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marie to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain.
