Herbert Augustine McNab

Herbert Augustine McNab who passed away on Thurs., Feb. 19, 2009 responded to the call of his Lord and graduated from this life after 82 years.
He was the husband for 54 years in a loving and devoted marriage with his wife Eileen Muriel (nee Hillcox). With instruction and by example, he guided his children Carol, Grace, Joy, Tim, Kay, and Ann, and ensured a legacy for all that extended to his eight grandchildren Sarah, Benjamin, Nathan, Isaac, Renée, Angêle (predeceased), Ruben, and Brooke.
Being the fifth child of James and Mabel McNab, he was predeceased by three siblings, James, Elsie, and Horace, and is survived by the remaining six siblings, Amabelle, Luke, Victoria, Bernice, Beulah, and Hugh.
Free to sing once more the praises of the God he knew and loved, Herb will be remembered with love and gratitude by family and friends left behind.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Fri., Feb. 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sat., Feb. 28 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Gideons International and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
