Lily McNairn

Lily McNairn (nee Monck) passed away at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sun., March 15, 2009. She was 84.
She was born on May 14, 1924 in Monkland, Roxborough Township, to the late Daniel and Mabel (nee Dillabough) Monck. She was the wife of the late George Edwin McNairn (Ted), who she married on July 15, 1946 in Finch. She is survived by her children Kenneth (Diny), Wilfred (Leona), Juanita McNairn, and Zena Reoch. She was the grandmother of Jennifer (Chuck), Daniel (Bree), Barrie (Tina), Rina, Zoe, Moli, Tristan, Sadie, Quentin, and Sophie, and the great-grandmother of Jasmine, Justin, and Siobhan. She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Walter Monck. She was the special friend of Doreen Simpson.
She resided at the Dundas Manor in Winchester and was formerly a housewife and homemaker.
A private graveside committal service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Osnabruck Centre, with Pastor Bruce North officiating, at a later date.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
